Remember how I said that I was excited to do more 5 minute drawings? Well, I was, so I did. But I feel like I was unable to capture the same sense of spontaneity. These seem far less... bizarre. I don't know, maybe I'm being hard on myself, but I really wanted them to be stranger. I do like the girls with lipstick on, though.
I did the one lady in the dress twice because I felt that my first version (the one on the right) was too boring and literal. I'm a little bit happier with the one on the left, but only mildly.
One thing that I think helped me the first time around was pre-cutting little pieces of paper. I just did these ones in a sketchbook, and while I think they were good practice nonetheless, the task of making a composition with a pre-determined paper size/shape is a greater challenge with greater rewards. They also feel like finished drawings at the end, while these just felt like doodles in a sketchbook
